Black Rifle Coffee adds new veteran member to its team as Chief Human Resources Officer 

The newest addition to the BRCC team is a U.S. Navy Veteran and experienced corporate executive Martin “Marty” Manning who has been appointed to the post of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Marty says that joining the BRCC team is a high point in his career, adding, “I’m thrilled to be working with the entire BRCC team to achieve our growth objectives, including hiring 10,000 Veterans and ensuring they thrive in their civilian careers by leveraging the skills and attributes they exhibited in the military. It’s an honor to serve those who’ve defended the values that make this the greatest country in the world.”

Marty is the most recent in a string of senior BRCC leadership appointments that will help the company fulfill its mission of serving the Veteran and first-responder communities while rapidly scaling revenue. Executive Chairman Roland Smith (US Army), Chief Retail Officer Heath Nielsen (US Army), and Chief Technology Officer Chris Clark are among the recent senior leadership additions (U.S. Army).

Marty, who will be based in Salt Lake City, will be in charge of the Black Rifle Coffee Company’s talent acquisition and development strategies as BRCC enters its next phase as a growing omnichannel lifestyle brand. Marty, as CHRO, will aid in the execution of BRCC’s company-wide mission to hire Veterans and support them with transitioning into civilian life. 

Marty will also spearhead BRCC’s participation in two U.S. Department of Defense programs: DOD SkillBridge, which provides internship opportunities to transitioning Veterans, and the Military Spouse Employment Partnership, which focuses on hiring military spouses. BRCC also collaborates with NEW Apprenticeship to provide work experience to Veterans interested in careers in marketing and data science.
