Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. born on 20th November 1942, is an American Politician. He is the 46th President of the United States of America. Biden is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the 47th Vice-president during the presidency of Barack Obama for eight years from 2009 to 2017. President Biden says the rising prices of gasoline should not bother American masses

“Is the rising price of gasoline bothering you? Well, it shouldn’t,” President Biden says. Although according to the President the rise in gasoline prices shouldn’t bother the American masses it is a matter of great concern. The prices of gasoline are at an all-time high. The average national price for a gallon of gas is at its highest since July 2014. These prices were not seen since Biden was Vice-president. The average national retail price has surpassed $3.5 per gallon.

Not only gas but also the prices of oil has seen a drastic hike. The cost of oil has surged to over $90. The personal finances of the Americans have also seen a big hit and are drastically declining. Due to Biden’s economic policies, inflation has reached the highest level it has ever seen for 40 years now. The consumer price index has risen by 7.5% in one year from January 2020 to January 2021. The increase in the cost of day-to-day goods has become a huge problem for lower-income families. The real average earnings has seen a reduction of nearly 1.7% because of the high rates of inflation.

Health Care spending per person in USA

To add to the ever-rising prices of necessities the cost of health care is also seeing a major rise. The inflation in America is costing the families more than $250 per month for health care. According to surveys conducted by many new agencies like ABC News and Ipsos has recorded that the Millenials, Latinos, and the middle class citizens of America are the ones who are experincing this price crunch more than anyone else.On the other hand, only 1% of the American population views the economy to be good.

Moreover, America is seeing a 96.3% increase in the number of immigrant encounters. Over 178,000 migrant encounters have been recorded since December 2021. A court filing also brought to light the situation of how 62,000 illegal immigrants were released into America. Migrants have also been caught bringing illicit substances. In January 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection captured 839 pounds of deadly fentanyl at the southern border. The crime rate recorded in America is also at an all-time high. Over the course of two years, 346 officers were shot and 63 officers succumbed to those wounds. There have also been 103 ambushes among law enforcement officers. The crime rate on law enforcement officers has seen a 115% increase since 2020.
