On Monday, the Governor made a series of School Board nominations. Gov. Ron DeSantis has supported two Republican candidates for the Sarasota County School Board. He backed Bridget Ziegler, a member of the School Board. Ziegler, initially nominated to the Board by Rick Scott while he was governor, has already served two full terms and is running for a third.Bridget Ziegler and Tim Enos endorsed by Ron DeSantis in Sarasota school elections On August 23, she will square off against Dawnyelle Singleton in a nonpartisan election. How did he do it

In the speech, DeSantis mentioned that local members who support their plan to put children first and defend parents’ rights are required on the school board.Bridget Ziegler and Tim Enos endorsed by Ron DeSantis in Sarasota school elections Florida values student performance, parental rights, and openness about the state’s curriculum, according to DeSantis, who argues that the state’s school boards should include people who share these values.

He added that a whole school board is essential to uphold these ideals.

Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuez on Monday issued a series of endorsements for School Board candidates around the state. So far, Ziegler has raised almost $106,000 for the race. To say this race is an intense one would be an understatement.

When he received the Republican Party of Sarasota County’s (RPOSC) Statesman of the Year award last year, DeSantis mentioned Ziegler in his speech. The governor has praised her for standing by him at signing ceremonies for some laws, including a contentious “Parental Rights in Education” act that has been dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law by opponents.Bridget Ziegler and Tim Enos endorsed by Ron DeSantis in Sarasota school elections School board members and Republican party members have supported Enos as he seeks the available District 5 seat against Nora Cietek. Interestingly, DeSantis has not yet endorsed a District 4 candidate. However, that may be on the horizon. Conservatives have favored Ziegler Enos and Robyn Marinelli, while Democrats have supported Singleton Cietek and Lauren Kurnov for District 4.

How did the party react to these endorsements

The present GOP said that having the governor’s support was well-received by the local Republican Party. As he started his speech, he noted that the endorsement of two of our School Board candidates on the same day by our popular Gov. Ron DeSantis was a terrific day.Bridget Ziegler and Tim Enos endorsed by Ron DeSantis in Sarasota school elections

Current RPOSC Chairman Jack Brill said Governor Rick Scott is committed to appointing qualified individuals to serve on the state’s school boards. Regarding radical, awakened brainwashing of kids, he predicted that people would put family values above political interests.

As a school board member in Sarasota, Florida, Bridget Ziegler serves in District 1. 2014 was the year Ziegler was inaugurated as president. On November 22, 2022, Ziegler’s current term expires.

On August 28, 2018, Ziegler was re-elected to the Sarasota County School Board to represent District 1 in Florida after the general election was canceled. Internationally, Chief Tim Enos is a leading expert in bullying prevention, youth mentorship, and system accountability in model school programs.
