Mobile-first index: Google no longer sets a date

The idea was initially to migrate to this solution for all sites from March, but the pandemic has delayed this schedule. Now, the American giant admits that some sites are not ready, sometimes for legitimate questions, and therefore leaves “ the calendar open for the next steps ”.

Thus, the indexing which takes into account the mobile version as a priority for each indexed site is now a horizon and no longer corresponds to a deadline. A decision taken in a context where the sometimes arbitrary choices of the engine are more and more contested.

Google always refers to its search console for more details and to its community space for more any questions.
