With the rise in demand for digital services and proximity, we see players increasing their number of establishments here, and not only in the capital.
Hyper scalers are of course at the forefront of such an initiative. Oracle Cloud, for example, has just announced the opening of 14 new regions in the world with the objective of reaching 44 by the end 2022. Two are expected in France.
The first will be established in Marseille. The second has not yet been specified, but the deployment map places it in the west of the country.
Of course, the company praises its environmental approach, but also the multi-cloud. It recalls having signed a strategic agreement with Microsoft Azure in this area.
