The officials said on Wednesday that the Florida administrator who financed the controversial law commentator called “Don’t Say Gay” has been cited on charges of swindling a legislator coronavirus loan scheme for small enterprises.

The federal advocate said Representative Joe Harding, who is currently 35 years old now, got or tried to get more than $150,000 from the Small Business Administration in a pandemic help loan. He is being accused of two counts of wire deception, two counts of money censoring, and two counts of making lie assertions.

Joe Harding, who is a Republican, became well-known this year over his support of a law that denies commands on sexual attitude and gender identity in kindergarten via third class, along with this material that is not totally assumed age-appropriate.

Harding said in a written statement, “I want the public and my constituents to know that I fully repaid the loan and cooperated with investigators as requested.”

The Republican speaker of the House of Representatives of Florida has removed Harding from his committee task in the Legislature.

A trial has been planned for 11th January.

The “Don’t Say Gay” bill raised concerns among LGBTQ+ parents. But its supporters say it puts clear recommendations on age-appropriate discussions and offers importance to parents’ rights to select what their children learn.

Nadine Smith, executive director of Equality Florida, said that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis “has damaged our state’s reputation as a welcoming and inclusive place for all families; he has made us a laughing stock and target of national derision. Worse, he has made schools less safe for children.”

She further said “Equality Florida will defend the rights of all students to have a healthy environment to learn and thrive and for all parents to know their families are included and respected. This law will not stand, and we will work to see it removed either by the courts as unconstitutional or repealed by the Legislature.” when the measure was dashed off into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
